KAWAL WILDLIFE SANCTUARY - TELANGANA TOURISM - Kawal Tiger Reserve
Kawal Wildlife Sanctuary, which was established in 1964, is known for its
diverse flora and fauna. The sanctuary is surrounded by forests, where bamboo
and teak along with herbs and shrubs can be seen.
This wildlife sanctuary is
home to numerous animals such as cheetal, Indian bison, sambhar, sloth bear,
tiger, nilgai, panther and barking deer.
Moreover, crocodiles, monitor lizards, python, cobra, star tortoise and various other reptiles can also be spotted in the sanctuary.

This sanctuary is also a
dwelling place of like quails, eagles, owls, partridge, kites, peacocks,
kingfishers and mynahs. This sanctuary is visited mostly during the
