  Kawal Wildlife Sanctuary, which was established in 1964, is known for its diverse flora and fauna. The sanctuary is surrounded by forests, where bamboo and teak along with herbs and shrubs can be seen.  This wildlife sanctuary is home to numerous animals such as cheetal, Indian bison, sambhar, sloth bear, tiger, nilgai, panther and barking deer. Kadem Dam

The Kaddam Project is an existing major project across river Kaddam, a tributory of Godavari near Peddur(V), Kaddam(M),Adilabad District, Telangan Region, AP, India. The project is envisaged to irrigate an ayacut of 68,000 Ac. Khariff. The Kaddam Project has been integrated with Sriramasagar Project. The reservoir being supplemented through Sriramasagar Project, Saraswathi Canal to stabilize the localized ayacut.
